A Daddy Doula (or Doulo) is a male figure who takes on the role of the birth champion for pregnant and birthing families. A doula or doulo is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a family before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. A doulo is not a medical professional and does not take over the role of the partner.
