National Infant Mortality Awareness Month begins September 1st, but the pain and grief felt by families who have lost a child never ends. The loss of a child affects the whole community and we want to support families through their grief process. We hope you will join us in supporting families by attending this very special service to honor and remember all of Acadiana’s babies who have left this world too soon.
This very special service will be held in the infant area at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens and will end with a butterfly release at dusk. This event is FREE and open to the public.
