The counseling program is comprised of licensed and/or counselors working towards licensure, who provide assistance and guidance in resolving personal, social, or psychological problems and difficulties.
Counselors provide a variety of assistance to individuals, families, step-families, single parents, couples, senior citizens, teens and children ages three and older. Topics include: relationships, parenting challenges, LGBTQIA, coping with divorce, recovering from a crisis or disaster, coping with grief or loss, anxiety, depression, addictions, and stress and anger management.
Sessions are based on a sliding fee scale with a $40 minimum session fee (increasing to $50 as of 1/1/2020). Proof of income required for sliding fee sessions. Dates and times vary. Grant funding available to cover the cost of counseling sessions that meet certain eligibility requirements. Funding provided by the Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund, Louisiana Disaster Recovery Alliance and Office of Juvenile Justice.

Lisa LaRochelle, LCSW-S – specializing in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), children 0-5 years old, and clinical supervision.
Patrick Bowman, LPC-S, BCPCC – specializing in pastoral and spiritual guidance, general counseling, life issues and relationships/couples counseling.
Breanna Spriggs, LPC – specializing in personal healing journeys, relationship/couples therapy, child and adolescent counseling and behavioral management consultation.
Brad Gros, LPC-S – specializes in grief counseling, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), acute mental health issues, general counseling, and early childhood through adults.
Daja Williams, MS, PLPC, specializes in early childhood through adults with a concentration in play therapy.
Lauren Phillips, MA, PLPC – specializes in early childhood through adults, who incorporates various approaches to serve the whole person: mind, body, and spirit by utilizing expressive art techniques.
Camille Boudreaux, LCSW intern – pursuing a graduate degree in Social Work from Rutgers University; specializing in early childhood through adults.
You will be required to pay a deposit to book your session online. However, counseling session are based on a sliding fee scale, so we will need to determine your full fee (if applicable).
