Currently accepting applications for the position of Healthy Start Mental Health Case Manager.

Brief Position Summary: The Mental Health Case Manager—under the direction of the Case Manager Supervisor—will provide mental health services that include assessment, support group, treatment planning, and counseling for infant mental health and maternal depression treatment. Services will be delivered in accordance with program time line policies. Responsibilities also include screening eligible families for risk factors, connecting enrolled families to a medical home, monitoring child health and referring families to community resources in order to meet their needs. Operate cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Education and Training: Masters in Social Work, Counselor Education, or other Clinical Mental Health field is required. Must be licensed or working towards licensure under appropriate supervision as defined by the state governing body.

Qualifications and Experience: Demonstrate competence in providing health education and supportive services to adults, adolescents, and children. Experience in case management, maternal and child health, infant mental health and/or mental health preferred. Good communication skills and be culturally sensitive to the population we serve. Only outstanding candidates with a great work ethic and a belief in exemplary practice need apply. Valid Driver’s License.
